Oishii Box

Let me explain. The boxes contain the right amount of "stuff" for what you buy. But they arrive TOO frequently! That may or may not be a good thing for your preference. When the subscription was purchased as an Xmas gift, it wasn't very clear at the check-out process how frequently and consistently you would pay for extra boxes and then receive the shipment. I'm not even positive where the company is located to get answers! My house felt covered in these red-and-white boxes, which wouldn't stop arriving. As for the food product, it is something we have never tasted (in a good way) but be cautious if you aren't interested in spicy flavors, they are constant. It is difficult to cancel because:

1) there doesn't seem to be a customer service center to contact

2) if you purchase a year subscription, you can't seem to get out of it upon disliking the product

3) they keep your credit card on file to charge it with these extra boxes you don't remember paying for

One last item, make sure you LOVE Japanese food because that is all they offer - thought it would be more of an Asian variety from different locations. I would suggest doing your research with this information in mind and consider looking at other options...lesson learned for me!
